ok so I'm finally contributing. Buy a house in Portland!? What are they going for there anyway? What does that mean that you get $8k from the goverment? Shane would probably be the best one to talk to, I have no idea, except that of course we want you here. But who gets the chance to stay in a weird town that is so accepting and even has a weird festival? So I can't blame ya for staying. :) I just bought a raw cookbook, and have tried some dessert recipes for bars and things, but need a dehydrator if I'm going to try other ventures: like the raw "lasagna" made of course with all veggies.
I have also rediscovered the joys of garage saling. I haven't been (on purpose) for over 2 years, can you beleive it? But I went with Lisa last Sat and got a pile of great stuff (including some freebies) for all under $22. Shane got a really nice telescope for father's day: a $350 one that I got at a sale for $20. I knew I was taking a chance, but it has been hardly used. So now you'll have to come back for some good star gazing. We are just getting started with it. :)
What else.. Seth did Bible school for 3 days for the first time. He was a handful and insisted on being attached to Tyler at all times. We just got back from the library, we are trying to implement more Love and Logic strategies, so we went to pick out books and a movie and I had Levi who was screaming so I gave him a bottle and seth started running up and down the isles and trying to go places he shouldn't. He just picked out a movie and I told him we'd have to leave it there if he couldn't stay right next to me. So of course we had to set it down and I had to drag a screaming kid out of the library, but hopefully he will begin learning. We are in that "stage".
Levi is doing so good. A fat healthy guy who is so easy. He gets circumcised next week. That is about all the news I think. Here are some pics.
