Wow, where did the summer go? I don't even remember the last time I posted anything. Shane and Seth are here and the boys are playing together (not fighting too much anymore) so I have time.

I'm finally settled in a "real job": 9-5 m-f, no weekends, no holidays, no call. Actually, my hours are more like "whenever I get ther"-"whenever I leave" but generally I'm there from 8:30-4:30. It's a lot of program development and reading, which is hard, but the day-to-day stuff is pretty easy, basic office work. I'm really happy because I basically get to make the job what I want it to be, and still get to incorporate patient care if/when I want to. But I don't have to wipe too many butts anymore, which is nice. =]

Em, Tyler is getting close to my shoulder. I think he's about 1 inch too short to ride the water slide at the pool, which is probably ok since as soon as he does it, Liam will want to also.

Our summer consisted of learning new jobs and learning how to get up before 7 every single day, the zoo, a quick trip to the sand dunes and some day trips to Denver. I went to Iowa for my 15 year class reunion and met up with Anna and Sharon for the first time in years. That was really good. We also took Tyler to the Natural History Museum for his birthday, and convinced him to celebrate at L'il Mr. Biggs (Borriello Bros Pizza) instead of Chuck-E-Cheese. No any cheaper, but overall a better experience. He is doing really well in school, partly because his desk is in the front row, so he can't watch everyone else without turning around.

Liam is HILARIOUS right now, talking and repeating nearly everything Tyler does and says, which is mostly good. I'm trying to figure out how to link my iPhone to this to play an audio I have of the boys reading "Going on a Bear Hunt;" Liam sounds like, "Dooin on a beeeeeeerrrrrr-haaauuunnntt!" My favorite things to hear him say right now are, "I wuv yeow, Mom!"; "Poop-L" (purple); "Tay! Be-Doo, Enzo!" (Stay and be good, Enzo); "T'm EER, dies!" (Come here, guys!) and his expression when he says "Ummm, 'bout, maybe" and the like. It's fun because he doesn't need as much translation anymore.

We also went to Arizona for the Allison Family Reunion, which was fun and interesting. I've posted a few photos from that trip. Clay has an amazing shot of their new house with a rainbow over it posted on his FaceBook. JJ, your FB photo made me laugh for hours. It sounds like London was amazing, and Clay will never forgive Ed for being able to see U2 in concert there.

Love you all! -la
