ok so am I the only one posting lately? I need to know what is going on with you all. AND I need to get some of those skiing pics from you Lisa, and Mom. So I'm not sure if everyone knew, but we finally have an adoption date: May 5 at 4:30 and everyone who can make it is invited to the court hearing. Visits have stopped and we are so happy that Levi is even closer to oficially being a Stutzman. He is crawling like crazy and getting really loud.
I was reading over the book where I write down Seth's funny sayings, and thought I should share a piece of his mind:
Today: Mom, did you know buns are connected to legs?
Me- It's time for a rest. Seth- I don't want to rest, I want to LIVE!
After skiing: me- do your legs feel like jelly? Seth-yes. Me- how do your toes feel? Seth- like peanut butter.
Seth put his legs on the couch and hands on the floor and said, Mom look! I'm doing stretch ups!
Seth was jumping on Shane in bed to wake him up. I suggested that he tell Shane that he just wants to snuggle. Seth said: no, I want him to complain.
He said-I have an itch right there (pointing to his penis) I asked: do you mean on your scrotum-that sack that holds your balls? Seth: no, I don't have balls. That's my penis' belly.
We are in week 4 of 20 for the listening program and it's definitely doing something. He is now noticing sounds that I thought he was hearing before, but he acts like he never heard them before. They are mostly beeping or high pitched noises (microwave, cell phone, wind chimes, garage door) He is also covering his hands on his ears and making noises, and singing and dancing more. They say his brain is rewiring and trying to learn how to integrate sounds.
Emily, we played "guinea pigs" today. As I was pretending to be one and roll around in my woodchips bed, seth said, no, guinea pigs flip and flip (he was remembering your exact wording from when you described it to him.) :)
I'll put more pictures up soon.
