Grandad is much improved over yesterday, when he had so much pain. But he is still very weak. They sat him up in a chair today, and took him for a short walk--to the door & half way back. He couldn't make it all the way back to the bed, so they had to sit him in a chair and slide it over beside the bed. But it is still progress.
Bob sent an email last night saying he is flying out from IL for a 3-day weekend. Hearing that cheered Grandad a little bit. Maybe by then he will be ready for the rehab center.
