a little setback

I'm also loving these posts. Our own family letter! I think I should make one for my sibs.

Grandad had a surprise surgery this morning. His stitches popped out when he coughed hard.
It was a little scarey for Mom who came just as all the hospital personel were rushing around getting him ready. I left work to go be with Mom.
He came thru surgery ok and moved back to the floor - his same room. (that's what they did the first time, and then later to Critical Care.) Everything was clean inside - no abcesses or noticeable infection, so seems to just be surface. Dr. put a bunch more stitches in so Grandad is in quite a bit of pain. Please keep him and Grandma in your prayers. So far his heart is okay. This will be a long recovery. He will probably be moved to a Rehab place before going home. He loves cards, flowers. (so does Grandma) Emails good too. Grandma prints them out and takes to Grandad.

Uncle Bob coming this weekend. I am so glad. It will cheer them a lot. Me too.
