I got a new camera!

Clay brought my mother's day present in early! It's just like Mom and Dad's, a Lumix. So as soon as I load everything, I'll start playing. I got it just in time to take a photo of Clay's 5 stitches in the top of his head . . . .

I got an "urgent phone call" from him at about 3pm today, and when I picked up he said, "I need you to come home. Now. I need to go to the emergency room." I though something had happened to Liam, but Clay said he "was doing my workout and I split my head open." This is not what to say to a nurse, because of course my brain has him scalped from ear to ear lying in a pool of blood barely consious on the kitchen floor. So I got home, and he was sitting on the stairs with his head between his legs and a huge towel on his head--so far, no blood. I looked and there was a deep, but small (compared to what was in my imagination) gash. I guess the bands he was using to work out (they hook over the door) came off and popped him in the head. So. Not worthy of ER after all. He went to urgent care and they stitched him up. If I'd have known, I'd have brought a stapler home. Oh, well.

We have a picture anyway . . . . I'll post it next time. Glad Andrea's home! She came and played with the boys so I could go back to work. =] Welcome home! Come watch my kids. Hopefully she doesn't feel too abused.
