Grandad had a rough day today. -2nd day after surgery. He has some fever (100.3) tonight, so that is concern. Today they got him up; took out his catheter and then put it back in later, because nothing was happening. He is hurting quite a bit more tonight. Please pray for him. They had him walk around his room just a bit and sitting in a chair. I will be surprised if he gets to go home on Wednesday.

Yesterday, (when he felt better) Kara came walking in with her big black wig on. She left it for Grandad to play with. Tonight he wanted it on for the nurse. Who he got, was Rick and Jonathan.
They peeked in the room, and just saw an old lady, so walked all the way back to the Nurse's station to inquire. Came back and boy did Grandad beam at them. He couldn't laugh; it hurt! I was there and it was pretty cute.
