Wednesday, April 29 - Seemed much improved this morning, but kind of went downhill from around noon to 7:00 or so. His fever went up, but is back down now. He started fibrulation this morning, and that continues, but doctors say it's within 'acceptable' limits. Both Rick & Lisa said they kind of expected some fribrulation at some point, and are not overly concerned about it. The fluid on his lungs seems to be lessening, and his cough is subsiding some, but not gone. Oxygen levels are much more stable as well since the fluid on the lungs is diminishing. Something caused him to get fairly restless/agitated for a while this afternoon. Not sure if it was the fever or some medication. Much calmer by 9:00 p.m.
Mom is tired, although today was understandably unsettling and a little longer day for her. She is pretty amazing, though. She likes being at the hospital in the afternoons and home by 7-7:30. Merv and/or I have been staying until 9-9:30. Rick has been there everyday sometime. Really good to have his expertise.
Love to you all.
